I was able to connect with the Healing Hands team again today. They were visiting Bassin Bleu, which is one of the major tourist attractions in the Jacmel area. It is also home to a new school under construction by Linda Heston for Hands Helping Haiti. I was able to visit with Linda's local assistant Elyssee for a tour of the grounds. The school is scheduled to open in the fall with 6 classrooms. Linda presently runs 1-2 medical outreach clinic on site during the year with plans for a medical clinic in the future. |
